A surprised Angel Locsin was tickled pink on Sunday after receiving 4 surprise gifts from suitor Phil Younghusband during her guesting on celebrity show "The Buzz."
Younghusband was not present during the show to personally give the gifts. Host Charlene Gonzales instead handed them to her.
Gonzales presented first a personalized card from Younghusband, who congratulated the actress following the success of her latest Star Cinema movie, “In The Name of Love.”
Locsin then received a tumbler from him, with a note, “I thirst for your affection.”
The actress also received a pillow “to make sure you’re always comfortable” during her trips and a teddy bear “to cuddle when I’m not there.”
A visibly happy Locsin admitted that she was caught off guard. “Nagulat ako. First time na may gumawa sa akin ng ganito. Ganito pala ang feeling. I’m very thankful sa time and effort. Si Phil parang nararamdaman ko na gusto niya lagi lang akong happy kahit alam niya na hindi pa ako ready, na kailangan ko pa ng time. Kinikilig ako,” she said.
“Thank you Phil. Sobrang na-appreciate ko,” she added.
Locsin said she and the Azkals heartthrob are exclusively dating. She said she wants to get to know the British-Filipino football player first before they get into a serious relationship.
“Ayoko kasing magmadali talaga. Gusto kong i-enjoy ito. I’m 26 na, ayokong maglaro. Gusto kong maging sigurado. Ayokong masaktan. So, careful lang ako,” she added.
Younghusband first asked Locsin out on a date on social microblogging site Twitter.
