Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla is ready to set her eldest daughter free.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Padilla said she won't be stopping singer-actress Karylle if and when she wants to settle down with her boyfriend, Spongecola lead vocalist Yael Yuzon.
"Si Karylle naman is of age na to make her own decisions. 'Pag kailangan niya ng advice, that's when I get in," she said.
"I think kasi alam mo, 'yung mga anak mo, 'pag nag-turn na ng 18, ako ganun ang feeling ko ha as a parent, 'pag 18 [na sila], siyempre adults na sila eh. Mayroon na silang freedom of choice kung sino ang gusto nilang makasama. You cannot completely dictate kung sino 'yung tamang person for your children, right?"
However, Padilla believes that her daughter is not yet ready to walk down the aisle.
"I think right now, they're just enjoying themselves," she said.
In November 2010, Padilla already gave her approval to Karylle and Yuzon's alleged romance.
Two months after, Yuzon's younger brother, Yani, confirmed the young couple's relationship.
Karylle’s last known relationship was with actor Dingdong Dantes.
Dantes and Karylle went steady for 3 years before breaking up allegedly due to actress Marian Rivera, now Dantes’ current girlfriend.
Yuzon, on the other hand, used to date television sportscaster Lia Cruz.
