Beauty queen-turned-actress Bianca Manalo set the record straight over her alleged romance with "Happy Yipee Yehey!" (HYY) co-host John Prats.
Speaking to push.com.ph, Manalo assured Prat's girlfriend, singer Rachelle Ann Go, that there is nothing going on between them.
“Hi Rachelle! Don’t worry, wala 'yun. Nagulat kami actually na biglang nagkaroon ng John-Ca love team ha," she said.
Manalo also explained how the rumor started.
"Nag-umpisa ‘yan na asaran sa 'Ikaw Ang Bida' (a HYY segment) eh. So doon nag-start hanggang sa naging ganito. Nag-end up na kami ang tinutukso."
Meantime, TV host-actress Mariel Rodriguez, who posted a photo of the two celebrities on the microblogging site Twitter, said it was not her intention to create a big fuss.
“Kumbaga katuwaan lang, kasi marami ring kinikilig. Ano ba naman na pakiligin sila. Actually lahat naman talaga, very close ang 'Happy' (HYY) family," she said.
"Nagkataon 'yung moment na 'yun magkasama sila. So hindi ko pinalampas 'yung moment na 'yun. Pangit sabihin na ano, kasi nga may girlfriend si Pratty. Nire-respeto natin si Rachelle. Love natin 'yun,” she explained.
Last week, Go told ABS-CBN News that she harbors no ill feelings toward Manalo.
The former Kapamilya singer also clarified that all is well between her and her boyfriend.
Go and Prats have been together for less than a year.
