Megastar Sharon Cuneta has found an ally in veteran actress Dawn Zulueta.
Zulueta lambasted those who have been criticizing the controversial Marie France billboard of her co-endorser, Cuneta.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, the comebacking Kapamilya star defended the megastar.
"Let's just wait and see because Sharon is really starting to lose weight and she already has. Abangan lang nila gaya rin naman ng sa billboard ko, there was a before-after and then second after, so 'di pa yan tapos" she said.
"Well, you know, it's expected din siguro. How nice it is naman to have the Megastar in our family. I think it's a good thing that Marie France was able to get Ate Shawie,so siguro 'yong mga nangi-intriga, wala lang silang magawa," she added.
Showbiz comeback
Meanwhile, Zulueta said she is thrilled to be back on ABS-CBN 2 years after she gave birth to son Jacobo.
"The movie I'm doing is also with Star Cinema and now that I'm back on television, it's for teleserye here with the Kapamilya station, ABS-CBN, and I feel thrilled because I couldn't do it with any better station," she said.
"Matagal-tagal akong nawala, pero ngayon happy na 'ko because I'm finally home," she added.
Zulueta will play Magda, mother of lead character Olivia Pereira in the remake of "Mula Sa Puso."
When asked what made her accept the role, Zulueta replied: "It's not hard naman to convince me because I like working with ABS-CBN and then of course, the project is also wonderful. It's been a hit for the last 11 years when it was last shown."
"And now they're doing it a little better, mas i-enhance daw ‘yong crucial characters ng storya and then of course aside from that siyempre it's really wonderful to be a Kapamilya naman talaga so I love being back," she ended.
