Actress-singer Zsa Zsa Padilla has laughed off reports that her longtime partner, King of Comedy Dolphy Quizon, is now in critical condition due to lung problem.
During a press conference for Kris Aquino's 5th album, "My Heart’s Journey," Padilla pointed out that she would not be making public appearances if Dolphy is back home fighting for his life.
"Sana di wala ako dito, ‘yon lang. Siguro nandoon ako sa death bed, pero hindi naman," Padilla, who sang one of the songs in Aquino’s album, told abs-cbnNEWS.com.
Padilla stressed that the veteran actor is in good health and can still fulfill his showbiz commitments.
"He is good naman, he is okay. He is still taping," the singer-actress added.
Last year, Padilla broke into tears as she talked about the health of her 82-year-old partner.
During the press launch of Dolphy's album in November of last year, he revealed that he suffered from pneumonia.
Padilla said they could not convince the actor to entirely leave show business.
