Diamond Star Maricel Soriano has reportedly left for Europe after her 2 household helpers alleged that she physically and verbally abused them.
"The Buzz" reported on Sunday that they received information that Soriano went abroad after failing to appear in the first barangay hearing last week.
The actress requested that the hearing be rescheduled.
Complainants May Cachuela and Camille Acojedo, in a recent interviewm said Soriano's assistant Inday Castillo called them last July 1, offering to settle the dispute.
Cachuela said Soriano's camp wants an end to the controversy.
Cachuela and Acojedo worked for Soriano for only 2 weeks.
Early this week, the 2 went public and accused the "Diamond Star" of physically and verbally abusing them.
Cachuela said Soriano even threatened to shoot her.
