Is it curtains for young actress Andi Eigenmann's character, Gabrielle Marcelo, in ABS-CBN's hit series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (MLKI)"?

On Thursday night, Andi Eigenmann's character was impaled on a piece of wood. Gabrielle was trying to call for backup to help Alexander (played by Coco Martin), who was abducted and detained by his own twin brother Javier (Coco Martin), when the incident happened.

In a recent interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Andi Eigenmann said that she will give her best for the finale of the series.

"Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" is now on its last 11 episodes. It will air its final episode on August 11.

"Sana abangan niyo. Matagal pa po. We are still working on the ending. Sobrang seryoso lahat kami at ngayon sobrang ngarag magtrabaho para tapusin ang teleserye so sana suportahan niyo," she said.

The 21-year-old star also expressed her gratitude to all her fans who keep on supporting her.

Currently, Andi Eigenmann is five months pregnant and due to give birth in December.

The actress said she plans to continue her showbiz career after giving birth.

Andi Eigenmann coping well with pregnancy

For the first time after the news broke out that she's pregnant, actress Andi Eigenmann answered questions about her pregnancy.

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Eigenmann said that she's coping well.

"Okay naman po. Thank you," Eigenmann said after watching the indie film "Cuchera" at the UP Theater in Diliman Quezon City on Thursday.

Eigenmann said she's not having a hard time working even if her tummy is already getting bigger.

Eigenmann is part of ABS-CBN's hit TV series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" with Coco Martin as the lead star.

She said that the production staff and people in the show are taking good care of her.

"Okay naman po. Hindi po ako nahihirapan. The staff and crew and the production are giving me the right amount of protection and care that I need at sinusuportahan nila ako dito," Eigenmann said.

The actress said the stars and staff of "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" are preparing for the show's finale.

"Sana abangan niyo. Matagal pa po. We are still working on the ending. Sobrang seryoso lahat kami at ngayon sobrang ngarag magtrabaho para tapusin ang teleserye so sana suportahan niyo," she said.

She also expressed her gratitude to all her fans who keep on supporting her.

"Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo sa patuloy na pagsuporta niyo sa akin. Sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako sa inyo," she said.

Eigenmann's pregnancy was confirmed last month by her mother, actress Jaclyn Jose.

Until now, the family of the actress has refused to name the father of the baby.

Eigenmann is set to give birth before the end of the year.

Andi Eigenmann shows off baby bump

More than a week after her mom, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, confirmed the news that she is pregnant, actress Andi Eigenmann came out in public for the first time to attend a celebrity gathering, showing off her baby bump.

In an “Entertainment Live” coverage, Eigenmann was spotted at the Preview Best Dressed Ball on Friday in a long beige dress.

Eigenmann is currently more than 4 months pregnant.

Although she refuses to name the father of her grandchild, Jose said Eigenmann has decided to keep the child.

Ani Eugene, "Ang panghihinayangan lang natin, ginu-groom siya to become an actress, a leading lady, a star pero mauudlot. Mauudlot lang naman.

"A baby is always a blessing.

"She's already 21. Hindi naman siya pababayaan ni Ms. Jaclyn Jose at ng kanyang pamilya.

"Magaling siyang artista. Break lang iyan, kapag balik niyan mas magaling pa iyan."

Nagkasama si Eugene at si Andi sa pelikulang Mamarazzi na pinalabas noong nakaraang taon.

TRUTH HURTS. Sa mainit-init pa rin na issue tungkol sa "Sky Flakes and catfood" remarks ng indie filmmaker na si Rafael "Rafa" Santos, nagbigay rin ng pahayag ang dating theater actress na si Eugene Domingo kaugnay ng pinag-uusapang isyu na ito.

Aniya, "So, nung una nakakatawa, pagkatapos nakakalungkot. Tapos nakakainis, because there's some truth on what he said. And truth always hurts, hindi ba?"

Dagdag pa ni Uge, "Napanaood ko siya kasi kumalat naman sa Facebook at saka sa Twitter itong napakainit na issue tungkol sa statement o pa-interview ni Rafa Santos.

Handa bang tumanggap ng project si Uge na gustung-gusto niya kahit Sky Flakes lang ang ipakain sa kanya?

SECOND CHANCE. Napag-alaman ni Uge na nagbigay na raw ng apology letter ang direktor ukol sa kanyang statement na umani ng batikos sa local theater community.

"Kakalabas lang ng letter of apology niya addressed to the theater actors already, sa theater community.

"Nung una sa Cinemalaya lang, kasi siguro dahil marami ang nagre-request na i-pull out ang kanyang entry, di ba?"

Si Rafa ang direktor ng short film na Samarito.

"Ngayon umaga, mainit-init pa, nabasa ko 'yong kanyang letter of apology.

"And alam mo naman, maraming characteristics ang mga theater actors collaborative, very generous, at mapagpatawad ang mga theater actors.

"So, lahat naman nagkakamali, lahat naman ay dapat mabigyan ng second chances.

"Who knows, baka sa pagkakataong 'to, maaga pa naman, maipakita niya kung gaano talaga siya kagaling bilang direktor."

Mensahe pa niya kay Rafa, "Ngayon, naiisip ko lang, e, kaya mo pa lang magsalita nang maayos, e, bakit kumatfood ka pa at saka Sky Flakes? Bakit ka pa do'n?"

At saka niya sinundan ng malakas na tawa.

UGE'S MOVIES. Si Eugene ang bida sa Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank, na film debut ng direktor na si Marlon Rivera.

"Dito, aabangan nila kung ako ay lulusong sa septic tank kunsaan matatandaan n'yo na nahulog ako at naaksidente ako.

"Napaka-interesting na pelikula na ito lalo na sa ngayon, nauuso ang paggawa ng independent films.

"Makikita nila kung paano nagtatrabaho ang isang artista sa isang dream project. In other words, ito ay isang 'film-within-a-film.'

"Kumanta rin ako dito, sa palagay ko, dito na ako madi-discover bilang isang singer," biro pa niya.

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank ay kalahok sa 2011 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, at mapapanood sa Cultural Center of the Philippines and selected cinemas at Greenbelt 3 mula July 15 to 24.

Bukod dito, may dalawang pelikula si Eugene sa 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Ito ay ang My HouseHusband, na pagbibidahan ng mag-asawang Judy Ann Santos at Ryan Agoncillo, at ang "Lunod" episode sa Shake, Rattle and Roll 13 na ididirehe ni Chris Martinez (Here Comes The Bride, Temptation Island).

Back from the past: The Andi-Albie love story

As people are curious to know who the real father of Andi Eigenmann's baby is, many also want to know more about her past love.

In past interviews, Eigenmann admitted and revealed her romantic relationship with newbie actor Albie Casiño.

Eigenmann, daughter of actress Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil, knew Casiño for a very long time, even before she became the lead star of ABS-CBN's hit defunct TV series "Agua Bendita."

According to StarStudio, the 2 were childhood friends and Eigenmann was really close to Casiño's mother, Rina Casiño.

It also said that the 2 began dating before they joined showbiz. Casiño was introduced in Kapamilya's remake of the hit TV series "Mara Clara."

Like any ordinary couple the 2 would fight one day and make up the next day.

It was on May 6 when their relationship began to end. Eigenmann's friend Saab Magalona tweeted: "Thinking about a young actor who slapped my friend (his ex-girlfriend) makes me so angry. I hope his career goes nowhere!!>:(."

Her statement started speculations that it was Casiño who hurt Eigenmann.

Then a fan asked Casiño via Formspring if he really hit the actress.

The actor's response was: "So much bullsh*t. I never hit her. Maybe one of her many boys did. Andi's a cheater kasi she has maybe 10 guys. So yeah nope not me."

'She just loved me'

Days after his Formspring statement, Casiño admitted that he treated Eigenmann badly and that maybe his actions had driven her away and caused their breakup.

"I treated her so badly towards the end of our relationship. I just wanted her to leave me. All she ever did was love me and I took it for granted. I really never cared about it. Ask any of the people who knows us, everyone would agree to this," he said.

Casiño also earned the ire of Eigenmann's mother, Jaclyn Jose, who defended her daughter through a statement saying the young actress is not a cheater.

Casiño and his camp kept their silence about the whole thing, and via Twitter, Eigenmann expressed her pain because of him.

"The issue is not what he's done but how he's trying to ruin my life and let him be without defending him," Eigenmann said.

In June, StarStudio got the chance to talk to Eigenmann's father about the issue.

Gil admitted that he was hurt over what happened to his daughter but stressed that he's not harboring ill-feelings against Casiño.

On Wednesday, June 29, Jose admitted that her daughter is already 4 months pregnant.

On June 30, Eigenmann cleared the name of Jake Ejercito who was being tagged as the father of her baby.

She stressed that she only started seeing Ejercito 2 months ago.

Andi's young pregnancy not the first in family

Andi Eigenmann is not the first girl in her family to get pregnant at a young age.

Her half-sister, actress Max Eigenmann, was only 17 years old when she had her first baby. But Max said she is not ashamed of it, and neither should Andi now that she is about to become a single mom.

“I’m not married. That’s something people will say something about, but at the end of the day, I’m a good mother and I do my best,” she said.

Maxi, now 23 years old with 2 children, was one of those who Andi had sought out after the latter learned that she is pregnant.

“She was a little bit shocked and a little bit scared of the situation, but I think that comes with anyone who gets pregnant,” Max said.

Max also believes that her 21-year-old half-sister will become a good mom.

“I told her that she should not underestimate her strength because she’s one of the strongest people I know,” she added.

She said the Eigenmanns are all behind Andi, including their dad, actor Mark Gil. She said they consider Andi’s baby a blessing.

“She has our dad, her mom. Ilang kaming magkakapatid, 6, and we are all supportive about it. I think it’s all she needs,” she said.

When asked if she hates the father of Andi’s child, she said: “No, no, no hate at all.”

As for her message to the guy, Max said: “Thank you, magiging cute ‘yong inaanak ko.”

Jaclyn Jose, Andi’s mom, has refused to divulge the name of the father.

Andi Eigenmann Hurt while Taping Action Scene

Young actress Andi Eigenmann was hurt while taping an action scene for ABS-CBN television series “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” last week in Marikina.

Eigenmann, who plays a soldier in the TV series, was hit by a blank bullet after co-star Martin del Rosario accidentally pulled the trigger of his firearm on Friday.

“Si Martin kasama ko doon, tinabihan niya ako tapos yuyuko kami sa ground… siguro napull niya ‘yong trigger. Tumama sa akin pero sideways. It was a blank bullet, aapoy lang siya tapos sasabog,” Eigenmann told “The Buzz.”

She was rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City by the production staff and actress Maja Salvador. She reportedly suffered a second-degree burn and is now resting at her Quezon City home.

Eigenmann said everything happened so fast that at first she did not know what hit her. When she realized what occurred, she said she “freaked out.”

“Ang sakit kasi, naramdaman ko. Pero biglaan so hindi ako masyadong nagreact kasi nasa eksena na kami. Hanggang sa tumayo na ako, iyak ako ng iyak. Hindi ko nakikita ‘yong sugat, nakita ko ‘yong dugo at butas ng damit ko. Siyempre baril ‘yon, so natatakot ako,” she said.

In a separate interview with “The Buzz,” del Rosario recalled that when he heard the shot, he was initially not aware where it came from.

“Nakita ko na lang reaction ni Andi na may pain. Nataranta lahat kasi siyempre butas ‘yong jacket tapos ‘yong shirt. Hindi ko din maiisip na mapuputok ko ‘yon. Nakadikit pa kay Andi… Hindi ko gustong mangyari ‘yon… Hindi ko talaga sinasadya,” he said.

Del Rosario said he apologized to Eigenmann.

Eigenmann, on the other hand, said it was an accident and accepted del Rosario’s apology.

Meanwhile, director Darnel Joy Villafor said in a statement that both artists will resume taping next week.

“What happened between Andi Eigenmann and Martin del Rosario on the set of 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin' was purely an accident. Our actors are aware of the risks involved when doing action sequence on the show and their safety is always our priority. Andi has already been treated for minor injury, while Martin has apologized to Andi for the mishap,” Villarfor said.
