Sarah Geronimo: Rachelle Ann Go not a homewrecker

Singer Sarah Geronimo has stepped forward to defend her close friend Rachelle Ann Go against rumors romantically linking her to a married man.

Geronimo told Push.com.ph that she knows Go very well, and that she is sure that she couldn't possibly be involved in such a scandalous relationship.

"Kilala ko naman si Ate Rachelle . Napaka-responsableng tao niyan. Hindi 'yan gagawa ng bagay na alam niyang ikakasira niya at ikakasira ng relationship niya with her family at saka mga taong naniniwala sa kanya. So, talagang siyempre kampante din ako na hindi totoo yung mga issues about her," Geronimo said.

Geronimo admitted to Push.com.ph that she was fact hurt by the intrigue against Go.

She said, “Napag-usapan naman namin minsan. Siyempre nakakalungkot na may mga ganung intriga.”

Although being a showbiz icon makes them susceptible to such kind of controversies, Geronimo claimed that this new issue may be too much for Go.

“Oo, pana-panahon lang yan. Pero siyempre andun yung parang feeling na parang ang daming binabato kay Ate Rachelle na intriga,” she said.

Geronimo, Go, and Yeng Constantino used to hang out regularly.

“We like going to movies tapos kakain. Manunuod kami usually light movies or minsan pagka-nagustuhan namin manunuod kami ng horror, ganun. Mahilig kami sa Filipino dishes and mag-dessert. Meron din kaming mga favorite places na kinakainan,” she said.

However, due to their busy schedules, they no longer get to go out as often as they want to, Geronimo said.

Rachelle Ann GO Jealous of Bianca Manalo?

Is former Kapamilya singer Rachelle Ann Go jealous of "Happy Yipee Yehey!" (HYY) host Bianca Manalo?

Rumor has it that Go's boyfriend, dancer-actor John Prats, seems to be enjoying the company of his HYY co-host, Manalo, after actress-host Mariel Rodriguez posted a photo of the two celebrities on the microblogging site Twitter.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Go clarified that she is not affected by the said rumor.

"Marami nga pong nagtu-tweet sa akin e. Nagugulat ako eh. Actually hindi naman po ako affected kasi trabaho (lang). Kumbaga sa akin din, ganun din. Naiintindihan ko naman. Marami akong nakaka-duet, ginagawang love team-love team. Naiintindihan ko naman.

“Kumbaga, isang pamilya 'yan eh, isang show. Kailangan siyempre close kayong lahat ‘dun. Naiintindihan ko naman na ganun sila. Hindi naman ako naapektuhan doon,” she added.

When asked if she is the jealous-type of girlfriend, Go quickly replied: “Ako siguro, nasa lugar... Siya (Prats) naman kasi sine-secure niya ako. Ina-assure niya na ako lang and nakikita ko naman ‘yung sinseridad niya at nararamdaman ko ‘yun.”

Meantime, Go revealed what she liked most about her boyfriend.

"Sobrang bait at 'yun nga, 'yung sincerity mararamdaman mo talaga. And alam mong hindi ka niya lolokohin," she said.

Contrary to earlier reports saying that the two have called it quits, Go said: "Hindi totoo. Napag-uusapan namin lahat. Shine-share namin lahat... Sobrang close siya sa family ko, sa mga kapatid ko. Kahit wala ako sa bahay, kung pupunta siya dun, hindi ako magwo-worry."

Go is also grateful that her boyfriend's family has been good to her. "Sobrang pasasalamat ko na ganun sila. Sobrang nararamdaman ko 'yung love nila (Prats family). Nakakatuwa, sobra," she ended.

Rachelle Go Denies Break-up with Prats

Former Kapamilya singer Rachelle Ann Go on Sunday laughed off speculations that she and boyfriend, dancer-actor John Prats have called it quits, celebrity website Philippine Entertainment Portal reported.

"Hindi ko nga alam kung saan nagsimula yun at kung sino ang nagpasimula," Go told celebrity show StarTalk TX.

The 24-year-old singer assured that she and Pratts are very much happy with each other's company.

Meantime, Go also denied that she and Prats are already engaged.

"Wala po akong singsing. Masyado pa pong maaga 'yun," she said.

However, Go divulged that she and her boyfriend are already talking about settling down but have no official plans yet.

"Siyempre, napag-uusapan po yun, pero wala pang plano," Go added.

In February, Prats admitted that she and Go are officially on.

Prior to his relationship with Go, Prats went steady with actress-dancer Shaina Magdayao.
