Liz Uy denies romance with Kean Cipriano

Celebrity stylist Liz Uy has denied rumors romantically linking her to rock band Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Uy said she and Cipriano are not dating.

“Hindi naman po totoo ‘yon. Kaloka,” she said.

Uy clarified that Cipriano is not courting her and that the two of them are just friends.

“No. He’s not [courting me],” she said. “We’re just really friends.”

According to Uy, she is not dating anyone at the moment.

When asked about the status of her lovelife, she replied, “Wala, malungkot siya. Sad.”

Uy used to date President Benigno Aquino III.

Liz Uy Greets PNoy On His Birthday

MANILA, Philippines - Fashion editor and celebrity stylist Liz Uy on Tuesday greeted former boss President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who is celebrating his 51st birthday today.

In microblogging site "Twitter", Uy, who is also celebrating her 29th birthday, extended her birthday greeting to PNoy.

"Happy birthday to our beloved president," she tweeted.

The bachelor President and the elusive celebrity stylist used to go out on dates last year. Some even speculated that they were already engaged to be married.

The relationship, however, did not blossom into a romantic one.

The fashion editor-at-large is the former girlfriend of bankable actor John Lloyd Cruz. Uy is now reportedly dating young director Lino Cayetano.

The President, according to sister Kris Aquino, is also exclusively dating a woman whose identity she did not reveal.

He has been romantically linked to stockbroker Len Lopez.

Born Benigno Simeon III, the 51-year-old bachelor President is the only son of former president Corazon and modern-day hero Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.
