Annabelle won't release Nadia's daughters

Talent manager Annabelle Rama stressed she won't be releasing her talents, Annyka and Alynna, the daughters of Nadia Montenegro, who filed multiple charges against her.

In an interview on ANC's Headstart hosted by Karen Davila on Friday, Rama said that Montenegro should follow what was stated in their contract.

"No. She has to follow the contract," Rama said.

Rama explained that it is too late for her to give up the contract especially after Montenegro filed cases against her.

"Alam mo ang income ko sa anak ni Nadia barya lang! Puwede kong irelease talaga hindi ba? Kung dinaan niya sa magandang pakiusap baka sakali pa ibibigay ko pero idinaan niya sa child abuse, binugaw (ko daw). Ayaw ko ng ganoon idadaan mo sa demandahan para i-release ko, ayaw ko ng ganyan," she said.

She added: "Wala siyang pisong ginastos para sa anak niya pinaaral ko ng acting, dancing, advance pang-enrollment, advance pangdamit, advance pangtakip ng tseke niya, ang daming advance sa opisina at ang nagbabayad ay ang anak niya. Every payday wala na para sa anak niya kasi kinuha na ni Nadia inutang na niyang advance."

Rama said her anger stemmed from the fact that she did everything for her talent but Montenegro slapped cases against her.

"Ibig sabihin lahat ng klaseng utang nasa akin tapos ang kapalit ay demanda sino ang hindi magagalit diyan? Binababoy ang pangalan ko, ang sarli ko. Gusto niya palang i-manage, sana pinakiusaan ako ng maganda kasi hindi naman ako makakabili ng bag sa komisyon ko diyan, barya lang sa akin yon," Rama said.

Nadia files attempted murder charge vs Annabelle

Talent manager Annabelle Rama is now facing charges of grave oral defamation, grave coercion and attempted murder filed by actress Nadia Montenegro following the “shouting incident” after a hearing at the fiscal's office in San Juan on Monday.

Monday's hearing was over Rama's claim that Montenegro illegally seized P500,000 worth of items, including 10 antique chairs, a Sony TV set, three beds and stainless steel pots and pans, which have been stored in her warehouse.

Montenegro has denied the allegations.

Montenegro was with her lawyer Marie Abraham, her sister, Tanya Montenegro, and driver Ariel Gamata, who served as her witnesses, when she filed the complaints on Wednesday.

“I don't know if I'm still safe after what she did. A car might hit me while I'm crossing the street, hindi ko na alam what she's capable of. It was clear she had that intention to kill if not other people intervened,” she said.

During Monday's outburst, Rama was heard saying she would run over Montenegro.

Montenegro said she is pursuing this fight so Rama would stop bullying other people.

“Lumalaban ako para matigil na ang kanyang pagbu-bully sa mga tao. Tama na. Hindi sa lahat ng panahon siya lang ang tama. I am praying for her dahil naaawa din ako sa kanya,” she said.

Meanwhile, Rama just laughed after learning that Montenegro filed an attempted murder case against her.

“Hindi ko siya papatayin.... She's not worth it. Wala siyang datung. Bakit ko papakulong sarili ko nang dahil sa kanya?” she said.

Annabelle Rama wants QC prosecutor to inhibit in Nadia case

Annabelle Rama has filed a motion to inhibit the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office from all the cases filed against her by former actress Nadia Montenegro.

On the motion for inhibition she filed on Tuesday, Rama said that she “has been informed by a reliable source that she will not be able to get a fair and impartial treatment in the entire Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.”

According to Rama, the reason behind the alleged bias is the information she received about Montenegro reportedly having connections with people in the office.

Quezon City prosecutor Liezel Morales was taken aback by the motion Rama filed.

Morales said that she is not the type of government official who will take on bribes.

“Ako ‘yung fiscal na kahit presidente hindi nalalakad sa kaso,” she said.

“Kaya nga walang lumalapit sa akin sa kaso, kilala naman nila ako, hindi nila ako nalalakad. Alam mo, hindi ako nababayaran,” she added.

Montenegro’s camp has denied Rama’s accusations.

“These are false accusations and we will file the necessary legal action,” said Atty. Marie Glen Abraham, Montenegro's lawyer.

“Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling ‘yung mga statement na ‘yan. I really hope that Ms. Annabelle Rama will refrain from these false accusations against my client, specifically also against the investigating prosecutor and the whole office of the prosecutor’s office,” Abraham added.

Ruffa Gutierrez tells mom to relax

Ruffa Gutierrez has extended her unwavering support to her mother Annabelle Rama, who is currently faced with a controversial legal battle.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Gutierrez said she has already advised her mom to take things easily and not allow detractors to get on her nerves.

“Sabi ko, mag-enjoy na lang siya, mag-relax siya magpa-massage siya, magpaganda siya kasi ‘yung mga wrinkles na nako-cause ng ibang tao sa kanya it’s not worth it,” she said.

“It’s better sometimes to just smile about it and let God do the fighting for you,” she added.

On the ongoing legal battle, Gutierrez is simply hoping for the truth to prevail.

“Well sana naman the truth will really come out and my mom will be vindicated,” she said.

Former actress Nadia Montenegro has filed libel, unjust vexation, falsification of documents and child abuse charges against Rama.

During their first face-to-face encounter at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office last December 6, Rama lashed out at Montenegro.

The preliminary investigation ended up in chaos, with Rama shouting: “Sinungaling ka hayop ka! Baboy ka!”
