In a text message to ABS-CBN News reporter Ginger Conejero, Estrada said Mereilles gave birth at 12:29 a.m. on Monday.
"Sammanta Anechka is her name," Estrada said. "But I don't think we're ready to show her."
Estrada said the baby weighed 6.13 pounds, although he isn't sure of the height.
"Pri is still recovering but she's fine," he added. "We're so happy. Modesty aside, she so pretty. Looks exactly like her mom."
Sammanta is Estrada's fifth child. He also has three daughters and a son with ex-wife Janice de Belen.
Estrada married Mereilles on February 26 last year in La Union.
