Dingdong Dantes reacts on Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista rift

Marami ang interesadong malaman kung ano ang saloobin ni Dingdong Dantes sa bagong isyung kinasasangkutan ng kanyang girlfriend na si Marian Rivera.

Ito ay may kaugnayan sa napabalitang alitan ni Marian at ng kanyang co-star sa pelikulang Temptation Island na si Heart Evangelista.

Matatandaang pumutok ang kontrobersiya na kinumpronta diumano ng ina ni Heart na si Cecile Ongpauco si Marian sa airport pagkagaling nila ng shooting sa Ilocos Norte.

Naglabas na ng kanyang pahayag si Marian sa presscon ng Temptation Island noong June 24.

Dito niya inihayag na nagulat siya sa nangyari sa airport, dahil ang buong akala raw niya ay "okay"sila ni Heart pero hindi pala.

Samantala, wala pang naririnig na pahayag mula kay Heart dahil kasalukuyan itong nagbabakasyon sa Brazil kasama ang boyfriend na si Daniel Matsunaga.

Sa pakikipag-usap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Dingdong sa isang event sa Makati Shangri-La kamakailan, tinanong namin siya kung ano ang reaksiyon niya sa kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan ni Marian.

Napag-usapan ba nila ang tungkol dito?

"Definitely napag-usapan namin yun, pero para sa ganung detalye, I don't think nasa posisyon para magsalita 'coz sila yung nandun.

"Ang alam ko lang ay kung ano ang napag-usapan namin ni Marian.

"Ako, kahit na ano ang mangyari, 100 percent nandun lang ako sa tabi niya.

"Basta ang masasabi ko lang, dun ako sa totoo, dun ako sa tama. Hindi ako sang-ayon sa abusado.

"Kung may mali, dapat maituwid yung mali," pahayag ng Kapuso actor.

Para kay Dingdong, ang pagiging bukas ng komunikasyon nila ni Marian—kung saan updated sila sa nangyayari sa bawat isa tulad nga ng nangyaring ito sa girlfriend—ay isa sa higit na nagpapatatag ng relasyon nilang dalawa.

"Isa rin sa magandang dahilan kung bakit tumatagal kami ay dahil pinalalakas namin ang isa't isa.

"Sa lahat ng pagkakataon, we always help each other. Alam kong malalagpasan niya ito," saad niya.

Kilalang matapang si Marian, pero marami ang nagulat nang mapaiyak ito sa presscon ng Tempatation Island habang inihahayag ang kanyang saloobin sa nangyari sa kanila ni Heart.

Ano ang masasabi ni Dingdong dito?

"Tao lang 'yan, pag medyo may masakit na nangyari, siyempre maaapektuhan ka.

"Posible talaga na magkaroon ng ganyang mga pagkakataon.

"Ang importante, secured ka kung sino ang mga tao na nasa paligid mo, yung mga taong parating naniniwala at nagmamahal sa iyo at magtatanggol sa panahong kailangang-kailangan mo sila."

Kinontra naman agad ni Dingdong ang sinabi ng iba na parte lang daw ito ng gimik para mapag-usapan ang kinabibilangan nitong pelikula.

"Kalokohan 'yan. Kung nandun ako ako, di ko papayagang mangyari yun," sabi niya.

May bali-balita na may plano raw na pagtambalin sina Dingdong at Heart sa isang teleserye ng GMA 7. Hindi kaya sa nangyaring ito ay tumanggi na ang aktor na makapareha ang young actress?

"Pagdating diyan, ipinauubaya ko 'yan sa network. GMA ang makakasagot niyan," maikli niyang tugon.

Maricel Soriano accused of maltreating housemaids

Dalawang kasambahay ang nagtungo sa isang barangay hall sa Makati City para ireklamo ng pang-aabuso ang kanila umanong amo na si Maricel Soriano.

Sa ulat sa GMA news 24 Oras nitong Biyernes, ipinarating nina May Cachuela, 22 at Camille Acojedo, 18, ang kanilang reklamo laban sa binansagang "Diamond Star" at "Taray Queen" na si Maricel sa Barangay Hall ng Brgy Poblacion sa Makati nitong Huwebes.

Ayon kay Alex Reyes, barangay secretary, nakasaad sa reklamo ng dalawang kasambahay na sinasaktan at hindi pinapasahod ng aktres ang mga ito.

Idinagdag pa ni Reyes na noong Pebrero ay may katulad na reklamo na silang natanggap laban sa aktres. Pero hindi raw natuloy ang demandahan dahil hindi na nagpakita ang nagreklamong kasambahay.

Ipatatawag naman ng barangay sina Maricel at mga nagrereklamo kasambahay para pagharapin at malinawan ang usapin.

Claudine Barretto clears up ‘rehab’ issue

Angelika dela Cruz plans to enter politics next election

May pagka-witch daw si Angelika dela Cruz sa character na ginagampanan niya sa bagong early primetime series ng GMA-7, ang Futbolilits. Pero tila wala raw naniniwala at nagseseryoso na may powers siya.

Ito ang natatawang kuwento ni Angelika nang makausap siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa press conference ng Futbolilits noong Martes ng gabi, June 28, sa Studio 7 ng GMA Network Center.

"Hindi nila ako sineseryoso. Kaya lahat sila, kinikiyeme nila ako.

"Light lang siya actually. Lahat kami, yung role namin, light lang.

"Mag-asawa kami ni Paolo [Contis] na may pagka-bad.

"Pero yung pagka-bad namin, parang Disney na light lang siya, fun siyang gawin."

Isang buwan lang nagpahinga si Angelika pagkatapos ng huli niyang soap na Dwarfina. Pero masaya si Angelika na hindi siya halos nababakante ng projects sa Kapuso network.

"Masaya ako," sambit niya.

"Wala akong problema kung sinasabing hindi man yung lead role talaga. Walang problema sa akin yun.

"Ayoko lang din ng wala akong ginagawa. Ayoko rin naman ng sobra.

"Kasi siyempre, gusto ko rin naman na yung time ko for Gabby, nandoon lagi."

Si Gabby ang two-year-old son ni Angelika at ng mister niyang si Orion Casareo.

ANOTHER BABY? Wala pa ba silang plano na bigyan ng kapatid si Gabby?

"Hindi naman sa ayoko," sabi ng aktres.

"Siyempre, gusto ko. Gusto ko nga dalawa pa.

"Pero kapag nag-i-school na siya, kasi nakatutok kami. Sobrang nakatutok kami.

"Kaya kapag dinagdagdan mo, hindi ganoon kadali.

"Pero kung iniiwan-iwan ko lang sa yaya, madali. Kahit ilan.

"Kaya lang, nakatutok kami. Hands-on kasi ako.

"Tapos, yung anak pa ng kapatid ko..."

Ang tinutukoy ni Angelika ay ang anak ng kapatid niyang si Edward dela Cruz, na namatay dahil sa vehicular accident sa Pampanga.

Nalaman lang daw nila na magiging ama ang kanyang kapatid nang mamatay ito.

"Actually, nasa mommy at daddy ko naman yung anak ni Edward, pero siyempre, di ba?" sabi ng aktres.

Ano naman ang mga nakita niyang pagbabago sa kanyang sarili mula nang nag-asawa at nagkaanak siya?

"Ang bait ko na ngayon, ha!" natatawa niyang sagot.

POLITICAL PLAN. Si Edward ay nanalong konsehal sa Malabon noong isang taon, pero binawian ito ng buhay. Samantalang ang ama ni Angelika na si Ernie dela Cruz ay barangay captain naman sa kanilang lugar.

Hindi naman itinanggi ni Angelika na posibleng tumakbo rin siya for any political post sa kanilang lugar sa susunod na eleksiyon.

Aniya, "Gusto ko naman talaga, e. Eligible ako.

"Actually, di ba, yung naiwan ni Edward na position, hindi lang talaga sa akin ibinigay.

"Personally, gusto ko naman ever since. Kaya lang, depende...

"Pero siyempre, kung gugustuhin ko, hindi naman mahirap.

"At saka, tumutulong naman kami do'n ever since.

"Actually, ako kapag walang ginagawa, kapag walang trabaho, and then yung asawa ko naman nasa opisina, nandoon ako at ang anak ko sa office ni Daddy.

Nakapag-travel na rin daw sila ng boyfriend sa iba't ibang bansa tulad ng Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, at Australia.

"Hindi pa!" sambit niya.

"Gusto ko kasi kapag ikinasal ako, perfect. Parang fairytale wedding.

Back from the past: The Andi-Albie love story

As people are curious to know who the real father of Andi Eigenmann's baby is, many also want to know more about her past love.

In past interviews, Eigenmann admitted and revealed her romantic relationship with newbie actor Albie Casiño.

Eigenmann, daughter of actress Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil, knew Casiño for a very long time, even before she became the lead star of ABS-CBN's hit defunct TV series "Agua Bendita."

According to StarStudio, the 2 were childhood friends and Eigenmann was really close to Casiño's mother, Rina Casiño.

It also said that the 2 began dating before they joined showbiz. Casiño was introduced in Kapamilya's remake of the hit TV series "Mara Clara."

Like any ordinary couple the 2 would fight one day and make up the next day.

It was on May 6 when their relationship began to end. Eigenmann's friend Saab Magalona tweeted: "Thinking about a young actor who slapped my friend (his ex-girlfriend) makes me so angry. I hope his career goes nowhere!!>:(."

Her statement started speculations that it was Casiño who hurt Eigenmann.

Then a fan asked Casiño via Formspring if he really hit the actress.

The actor's response was: "So much bullsh*t. I never hit her. Maybe one of her many boys did. Andi's a cheater kasi she has maybe 10 guys. So yeah nope not me."

'She just loved me'

Days after his Formspring statement, Casiño admitted that he treated Eigenmann badly and that maybe his actions had driven her away and caused their breakup.

"I treated her so badly towards the end of our relationship. I just wanted her to leave me. All she ever did was love me and I took it for granted. I really never cared about it. Ask any of the people who knows us, everyone would agree to this," he said.

Casiño also earned the ire of Eigenmann's mother, Jaclyn Jose, who defended her daughter through a statement saying the young actress is not a cheater.

Casiño and his camp kept their silence about the whole thing, and via Twitter, Eigenmann expressed her pain because of him.

"The issue is not what he's done but how he's trying to ruin my life and let him be without defending him," Eigenmann said.

In June, StarStudio got the chance to talk to Eigenmann's father about the issue.

Gil admitted that he was hurt over what happened to his daughter but stressed that he's not harboring ill-feelings against Casiño.

On Wednesday, June 29, Jose admitted that her daughter is already 4 months pregnant.

On June 30, Eigenmann cleared the name of Jake Ejercito who was being tagged as the father of her baby.

She stressed that she only started seeing Ejercito 2 months ago.

Angel: Warns her ex-boyfriend by stalking her

Actress Angel Locsin has warned that she will reveal something about a former boyfriend if he won’t stop bothering her.

In her official Twitter account, Locsin posted: “Dear ex, stop texting, stalking & fighting me if you're over na. Pinrotektahan kita pero pag di ka tumigil magsasalita na ko sa pinaggagagawa mo. Respeto pls.”

Melai Cantiveros, Jason broke up again?

Reel and real life sweethearts Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco addressed the issue saying they almost broke up countless times while doing their first movie together, "The Adventures of Pureza: Queen of Riles."

In an interview with "Showbiz News Ngayon", the couple said there is no truth to the said issue.

"Siguro minsan nagkaka-ano (tampuhan). Minsan kasi parehas pagod. Pero ok naman," Francisco said.

Empress Schuck speaks up on boys linked to her

Young actress Empress Schuck finally broke her silence over rumors romantically linking her to several young actors.

Speaking to “Showbiz News Ngayon” (SNN), Schuck denied that she is dating actor Enchong Dee.

Kris Aquino, James not on speaking terms

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino admitted that she and husband James Yap have stopped communicating for a long time.

She told ABS-CBN News that they have no communication apart from a few text messages.

Aquino, who filed a petition seeking to nullify her 5-year marriage to the professional basketball player, admitted that she “refused to talk to him” after one of the hearings of the case.

“Honestly, I’ll be very honest, I was put through the wringer on that witness stand and I refused to talk to him after that,” she said.

When asked if she has ill feelings toward Yap, she responded: “Kasi alam kong hindi namin gagawin ‘yon sa kanya. Okay lang. After that, inintindi ko na lang dahil sabi ko baka this is the way na maga-grant ito,” she said.

She was not surprised though that it happened because she was “prepped for it” but “it was really different when it’s real.”

When asked if Yap apologized to her, she answered in the negative.

And if ever they would bump into each other, the “Kris TV” host said they are going to be polite for the sake of their son, Bimby.

“I just wish na sana kinonsider niya ang fact na ang primary care at ‘yong responsibilidad sa pagpapalaki, because custody is mine until at least he’s 8 years old, sana naisip niya na kung meron kang gustong [sabihin], huwag mong sirain ang pagkatao ko dahil nanay ako ng anak mo,” she said.

She, however, declined to elaborate for fear that a court judge might reprimand her for talking about the case publicly.

Aquino is also not saying anything bad against Yap to protect their son.

“I don’t want to say anything na mapapanood niya ... Sasabihin na naman niya sa dad niya, ‘Don’t be bad to my mama.’ Parati akong pinapaalalahanan at pinagsasabihan ni Ate (Ballsy), Pinky at Viel na at the end of the day, he needs a strong relationship with his father so [dapat] mong pangalagaan,” she said.

As for her love life, Aquino said she is not dating anybody. She added that she spends her free time with her children.

Vicky Belo and Hayden Kho engaged

Celebrity doctor Vicky Belo has finally announced her engagement with her boyfriend, Hayden Kho.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Belo said she and Kho got engaged in December 2010.

“Well actually the truth is we’re engaged. We’re engaged pero matagal na December pa. Pero mayroon lang kaunting mga issue na... mahabang kuwento,” she said.

Kho, on the other hand, said: “Pinili lang talaga namin before na huwag na lang muna ipaalam sa kahit sino kasi gusto namin ma-enjoy muna.”

During the opening of The Belo Medical Group’s newest clinic in Greenbelt in Makati last February, Yolanda Hadid, fiancee of international singer David Foster, slipped and told the entertainment press that there is an upcoming “wedding” between Belo and Kho.

Belo and Kho evaded the media then and refused to say anything about the rumor.

Andi's young pregnancy not the first in family

Andi Eigenmann is not the first girl in her family to get pregnant at a young age.

Her half-sister, actress Max Eigenmann, was only 17 years old when she had her first baby. But Max said she is not ashamed of it, and neither should Andi now that she is about to become a single mom.

“I’m not married. That’s something people will say something about, but at the end of the day, I’m a good mother and I do my best,” she said.

Maxi, now 23 years old with 2 children, was one of those who Andi had sought out after the latter learned that she is pregnant.

“She was a little bit shocked and a little bit scared of the situation, but I think that comes with anyone who gets pregnant,” Max said.

Max also believes that her 21-year-old half-sister will become a good mom.

“I told her that she should not underestimate her strength because she’s one of the strongest people I know,” she added.

She said the Eigenmanns are all behind Andi, including their dad, actor Mark Gil. She said they consider Andi’s baby a blessing.

“She has our dad, her mom. Ilang kaming magkakapatid, 6, and we are all supportive about it. I think it’s all she needs,” she said.

When asked if she hates the father of Andi’s child, she said: “No, no, no hate at all.”

As for her message to the guy, Max said: “Thank you, magiging cute ‘yong inaanak ko.”

Jaclyn Jose, Andi’s mom, has refused to divulge the name of the father.
