Zanjoe Marudo: I'm in love with Bea Alonzo

Hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo has finally admitted that he sees actress Bea Alonzo as the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

"Yes," he told ABS-CBN celebrity talk show "The Buzz" when asked if she is in love with the "Guns and Roses" star.

Marudo added that aside from being the woman closest to his heart, Alonzo is also his best friend.

Alonzo and Marudo started seeing each other in December last year.

A month later, the hunk actor admitted that he is already wooing the drama actress.

Just recently, the 2 spent time together in Paris, France.

Asked about the current status of their relationship, Marudo said, "Ako nandoon na ako hindi ba? [Siya] malapit na yata, malapit na."

Currently, Marudo is busy promoting his movie "Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi" with Toni Gonzaga and Eugene Domingo.

He is also taping for ABS-CBN's upcoming series "Hiyas" with Mercedes Cabral and Megan Young.

Nora Aunor Suffers from Overfatigue

Superstar Nora Aunor said she suffered from overfatigue while doing her comeback movie "El Presidente," but was quick to assure her fans that she is now doing better.

In an interview with "The Buzz," Aunor said this may have been caused by her hectic schedule.

"Pagdating ko talagang tuloy-tuloy ang schedule, halos walang pahinga. Tapos 'yung change ng weather. Pero okay na ako ngayon. Dahil sa pagod na rin siguro," she said.

"Actually pinagpapahinga pa ako pero mas maganda na 'yung magtrabaho ako para matapos na lahat 'yon."

Aunor has been reportedly causing the delay in the shooting of "El Presidente." Some reports said that the filming was put on hold to allow the Superstar to rest, while others said Aunor is spending too much time with "special friend" John Rendez.

The delay was said to cost the production team P1.5 million.

"Anong masama kung nandito si John, taga-rito siya at Pilipino naman 'yon. Kasama ko talaga 'yon for 8 years, kasama ko si John, siya ang gumagabay sa akin kapag may nangyayari. Nandiyan siya palagi," Aunor said, referring to Rendez.

Meanwhile, the Superstar said she is enjoying her time with her family and children in the Philippines.

"Masaya kaming lahat. Masaya ang mga bata, parang walang nangyari. Ganoon pa din," she said.

Kris Aquino shared her excitement over the newest television series of her friend, actress-comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas.

In an interview with "The Buzz," Aquino commended delas Alas for her hard work in ABS-CBN primetime show "Binondo Girl," which stars young actress Kim Chiu.

"Friendship, sobrang excited talaga ako to see your performance. Kasi alam ko kung gaano mo ito pinaghirapan, pinagpaguran," she said.

Gerald Anderson admits spending time with Kim Chiu anew

Gerald Anderson confirmed that he and long-time on-screen partner Kim Chiu have recently spent time together in a mall in Quezon City.

In an interview during a press conference for his endorsement, Puma shoes and sportswear, Anderson said he was with Chiu at Eastwood.

"Yeah totoo 'yan. Nagkita kami sa Eastwood," he told members of entertainment media.

He was quick to add, though, that they were with some of their common friends.

"[It was] A friendly get-together, nagkita kami doon. Wala, nagkita lang po kami sa Eastwood. Wala pong date saka madami kami, sobrang dami kami," he explained.

Anderson also shared his happiness that he and Chiu are good friends even after their so-called breakup last year.

Sarah Geronimo has clarified that she and her "Catch Me... I'm In Love" co-star Gerald Anderson are nothing more than just good friends.

“Tamang friendship, kung ano yung nakikita nila sa screen, yun naman yung bunga nung magandang pagtratrabaho namin, yung chemistry,” she explained to Push.com.ph.

Geronimo stressed there is no need for the public to speculate on her relationship with Anderson since, as far as she is concerned, her top priority is to entertain.

“Ang goal namin [ay] hindi maghanap ng girlfriend or boyfriend. Ang goal namin is mag-entertain ng tao,” she stressed.

According to Geronimo, though her relationship with Anderson is merely platonic, she is still confident that their on-screen romance will work out.

“Hindi naman kailangan na lumalim pa doon para mas maging effective kami as partners on-screen,” she expressed.

She said that as long as the two of them are comfortable working with each other, they can make their tandem work, just the way they did in their film "Catch Me...I'm In Love".

International singing sensation Charice Pempengco’s concert with the singing flute vendor from Clark, Pampanga, Arjohn Gilbert, has been set.

During his guesting in “Happy Yipee Yehey” on Saturday, Arjohn himself broke the good news that he will be a part of Pempengco’s concert this coming October 25 in Araneta Coliseum.

A few weeks back, Pempengco expressed her interest to perform with Arjohn through social networking site Twitter.

Megan Young: College First Before Beauty Contests

Megan Young wants to be a beauty queen someday but only after she finishes college.

In an interview during "US Girls August Awards 2011" event, Young said she has already received many offers to join beauty contests.

"Maraming nag-aalok sa akin na sumali sa beauty concert pero sa ngayon gusto ko muna tapusin ang college ko. I want to get a degree first. Kapag natapos na 'yon hopefully we'll see kasi I might finish mga 23 or 24 na ako. Pwede pa naman 26, so we will never know," Young said.

The actress said she always makes it a point to look beautiful and trim even if she has not yet joined any pageants.

"I'm always in the gym. I'm always getting myself ready kasi malay mo anytime naman pala bigla akong isabak so at least physically prepared ako, entally prepared ok na, kailangan na lang training," Young said.

The actress said she will only join a beauty contest if her heart states that it is the right time.

"50-50 pa ngayon kasi gusto ko kapag sumali ako 100% yung puso ko nandoon. Ayaw ko namang half-hearted sasali ako because of course it's a big responsibility dahil ire-represent ko ang country ko sakaling manalo ako in nationwide. I want to be fully prepared for that. Ayaw ko namang half-hearted lang because I'm representing the Philippines and that means a lot," she said.

Currently, Young is preparing for her newest television series "Hiyas" with Zanjoe Marudo.

After months of being away from local showbiz, singers Karylle and Christian Bautista are back to promote their international TV series "The Kitchen Musicale.”

“Ito na finally, the actual show. We’ve been away from home for over 2 months and we’ve been super homesick but we’ve been working hard just trying to do something different and something new,” Karylle told ABS-CBN News in an interview during the launching of the series.

“Just a little bit. Pero it’s amazing dahil we learn a lot of things – acting, dancing, singing. So pagbalik ko sa Philippines I want to show something different,” Bautista added.

The grand launching ala "Glee" was attended by various media networks recently.

Aside from Karylle and Bautista, “The Kitchen Musicale” also stars Pinoy talent like Thou Reyes and Ikey Canoy.

Gerard Salonga was chosen to be musical director and conductor of the production.

The "Kitchen Musicale" will be distributed in United States by the producer of "Ugly Betty at the Office.”

The series will be shown in the Philippines on Studio 23 starting this October.

Maria Aragon recently performed her rendition of the song "Born This Way" in a music video.

The song is part of her forthcoming self-titled debut album.

"I feel really grateful to be here thank you. We had to do a lot of takes and there's a lot of concept to it," Aragon said in an interview during a photo shoot.

Aragon's album under Star Records features 7 songs, including "I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing," "Follow Your Dream," and "Can't Smile Without You."

"Kung Bubuksan Mo Lang ang Puso" is the only Tagalog song in the CD.

Meanwhile, Aragon will talk about her life when she takes the hot seat on "Bottomline with Boy Abunda" on Saturday (August 20) after "Banana Split."

Aragon will share how she was raised, how she came to love music, as well as her thoughts on making her dreams come true.

The 11-year-old singer will also perform on the show.

Her budding career in the local scene follows her performances with international artist Lady Gaga.

She has also appeared on popular international TV shows like “Ellen de Generes” and “Good Morning America.”

Aragon and her family are set to fly back in Canada on September 8.

Geronimo, Go, and Yeng Constantino used to hang out regularly.

“We like going to movies tapos kakain. Manunuod kami usually light movies or minsan pagka-nagustuhan namin manunuod kami ng horror, ganun. Mahilig kami sa Filipino dishes and mag-dessert. Meron din kaming mga favorite places na kinakainan,” she said.

However, due to their busy schedules, they no longer get to go out as often as they want to, Geronimo said.

Young actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes admitted that they are feeling nervous over the red carpet premiere of their first film together, "Way Back Home."

In an interview with ABS-CBN's "Showbiz News Ngayon," Bernardo said that they are not sure if the people they invited can make it to the premiere, which will be held at SM Megamall on Tuesday night.

Kim Chiu thrilled to work with Gov. Vilma Santos

Kim Chiu shared her excitement over reports that she will be doing a movie with the Star for All Seasons, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos.

She admitted, though, that there is no confirmation yet on the said project.

"Hindi ko pa po alam. Wala pa daw pong time," she said in an interview during a press conference for her upcoming show, "Binondo Girl," which will air on August 22.

"Alam mo maski ano, basta kasama si Ms. Vilma," she added.

Newspaper and online reports said that Chiu will be doing a horror film with Santos under Star Cinema, which was a working title "The Healing."

The movie will be directed by Chito S. Roño, the same man behind hit horror films "Feng Shui" and "Sukob," the reports added.

Meanwhile, Chiu also expressed her desire to work with Superstar Nora Aunor.

"Kung Nora Aunor? Pwede din, ikaw ba naman [magiging choosy pa]. Ang tagal-tagal na niyang artista," the young actress said.

Asked if she is a fan of Aunor (Noranian) or Santos (Vilmanian), Chiu replied, "Wala pa ako sa panahon na nag-aagawan sila. Ako, sa akin kahit sino."

Actress Lovi Poe said she has decided to concentrate on loving herself more after her controversial relationship with former Ilocos Sur Congressman Ronald Singson.
