Kris Aquino shared her excitement over the newest television series of her friend, actress-comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas.
In an interview with "The Buzz," Aquino commended delas Alas for her hard work in ABS-CBN primetime show "Binondo Girl," which stars young actress Kim Chiu.
"Friendship, sobrang excited talaga ako to see your performance. Kasi alam ko kung gaano mo ito pinaghirapan, pinagpaguran," she said.
"Excited ako kasi lahat ng naka-preview na sinabi sa akin talaga na mapapa-wow talaga. Bow lahat sa performance na ginawa mo kasi ikaw lang ang nakakagawa ng umiiyak natatawa, ume-emote eh nagpapa-comedy, all in one. 'Yung parang this [is a] performance of a lifetime ni Ai-Ai so I'm excited for 'My Binondo Girl.' Congratulations in advance."
"My Binondo Girl" is delas Alas' comeback primetime show after "I Love Betty La Fea" in 2008. It will premiere on Monday night (August 22) after "100 Days to Heaven."
