The son of Camarines Sur Gov. Lray Villafuerte is keeping his silence on his reported plan to court Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Sports enthusiast Miguel Luis, 22, neither confirmed nor denied the issue when he faced the media for the first time after the speculations surfaced.
“Secret,” Miguel Luis, who is still unattached, briefly replied when reporters asked him about the rumors.
If the rumors were true, the young Villafuerte shared his father would not intervene with his personal life.
Miguel Luis joined the governor in Libmanan for a friendly basketball game between the town’s officials and Camarines Sur Rep. Diosdado "Dato" Macapagal Arroyo’s team. According to reports, the elder Villafuerte is eyeing Miguel Luis, his eldest child, to succeed him in the future.
Earlier this month, Geronimo reacted to reports linking him to Miguel Luis. The pop star princess clarified that she has yet to meet the young Villafuerte, a Political Science student in New York.
