In an interview with Push.com.ph, de Belen said she is currently focused on her career and doesn't want emotional distraction.
“Right now, I’m emotionally exhausted. I’m enjoying what I have right now. Saka na muna ‘yang iba,” she said.
Explaining how stressful being in a relationship could be, she said, “If you’re in a relationship, aside from the fact that you need to be there physically, you need to be there emotionally a hundred percent, minsan two hundred percent pa.”
De Belen believes there is always a right time for love, which is why she isn't rushing.
“Alam mo, darating ‘yan. Kahit nakatago ako sa likod ng pintuan mahahanap nila ako. Tsaka I deserve to be found this time,” she said.
When asked whether she’s open to the idea of falling in love with a younger man, de Belen replied, “Eh 'di ang magiging status ko nun sa Facebook emotionally sagad?”
“Huwag na, ano ba. ‘Yung panganay ko 24 years old [na]. It’s too much work,” she said.
