The camp of Cristine Reyes has finally spoken on the reported reconciliation between her and Sarah Geronimo amid speculations that the Pop Star Princess’s move to iron things out with her was a mere publicity stunt.
Reyes’s boyfriend, actor-dancer Rayver Cruz, said he wants to put all speculations to rest.
“Happy ako para sa kanila, para sa aming lahat. Let’s put it sa past, hindi na kailangang ibalik,” said Cruz, who is Geronimo’s former boyfriend.
Cruz was in the middle of the much publicized misunderstanding between the 2 actresses last year.
“The Buzz” tried to get Reyes’s comment, but she declined to discuss the controversy.
According to “The Buzz” sources, however, Reyes has never questioned Geronimo’s sincerity.
The sources also said that some people are trying to make a big fuss out it but the lead star of “Kristine” has already put the issue behind her, the report added.
Geronimo, the lead star of romantic-comedy film “Catch Me… I’m In Love,” said she respects the opinions of other people.
She said: "Alam ko na may mga taong hindi ito maiintidihan at humihingi ako ng pasensiya sa mga taong nagulat at nabigla sa naging decision ko at nagpapasalamat ako sa mga taong nagtanggol sa akin.”
"Ang tagal ko na po itong gustong gawin at hindi ko sinasadya na nasabay ito sa pelikula… Nire-respeto ko po ang opinyon ng bawat isa,” she added.
