Maricar Reyes thankful to be part of new soap

Maricar Reyes said she is grateful to be a part of the upcoming ABS-CBN television series “Nang Dahil sa Pag-ibig”.

“Sobra talaga akong thankful [na I was chosen to be a part of this project],” she told Push.com.ph.

“Iba ‘yung pressure niya. With every work naman, ever since, nape-pressure ako, pero ito iba naman kasi the role is bigger, so it’s more challenging also,” she added.

Reyes said she is grateful that she has supportive co-stars to make her feel comfortable on set.

“Everyone’s friendly with each other. Parang barkada na kami right off the bat, so masaya ito,” she said.

Joining Reyes in “Nang Dahil sa Pag-ibig” are Kapamilya stars Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual and Cristine Reyes.

Asked what this new show is all about, Reyes replied, “The teleserye is about love. It’s universal, it speaks to everyone’s hearts, tingin ko maraming makakarelate dito talaga.”
