Three years after her last movie, "In My Life," drew positive reviews from fans, Santos is facing the movie cameras again in "The Healing," directed by Chito Roño.
Santos said she will shoot only twice a week -- on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Kim Chiu plays Santos' daughter in the suspense movie, which tackles faith healing. Other stars in the project include Pokwang and Janice de Belen.
"I'm really excited to be back," Santos declared.
This year also marks Santos' golden anniversary in show business. She began as a child actress in the movie, "Trudis Liit," which was released in 1962.
Proud of Luis
Santos also said she's proud that her son, actor Luis Manzano, is going to get his own TV show -- as host of the game show "Deal or No Deal."
"I'm proud of my son," she said. "He's really serious with his job. I will pray for you. I love you, Lucky."
However, Santos said she is not yet ready to see her son get married.
Manzano is currently going out with actress Jennylyn Mercado.
"Nakikita ko naman happy sila," Santos said of the couple. "Sa akin lang, di ko ma-imagine 'pag sa simbahan na. Baka mag-iiyak ako!"
